This collection of 30 short stories, euphemistically and (I think) romantically titled Pork Chops and Pizza, is best served warm, along with your favorite beverage . . . though I would suggest something that has a little kick to it. From the sad and romantic ("You," "Remember Me," "Beautiful Mourning," "Dealer") and the innocence of childhood ("A Note For Charlie," "Soft Mushy Apples," "The Plane Truth"), to the quirky and bizarre ("Anarchy's Mr. Vein," "End of the Road," "Endymion," "Warheads and Fertilizer Don't Mix") and every variety of betrayal and deception ("Fourteen Billion Eyes Are Watching You," "Certainly, I Understand," "Take Cover," "Flower in the Night"), there is something here for every warped and curious mind. It’s fair to say that a walk in these woods today will have you tossing and turning in bed tonight. Best to read these under a large yellow moon.
